It's Parade Time!

Thank you for showing your interest in marching with the Sydney Stingers in 2024. The MG parade is a hallmark event for our club, and we cannot wait to have you alongside us!

This is a registration form confirming your participation in the 2024 float, check out some details below. 

Your Parade Fee covers:

• Our fee to Mardi Gras to participate in the parade
• Your own pair of custom designed, limited edition Mardi Gras 2024 Delfina swimwear

Important Stuff:

• Spots are limited on our float based on high participation this year, so please register early. We will also be saving some space for our sibling club members to participate with us. Should registrations sell out quickly, we will look into opening more spots if MG allow, or open a wait list. 
• This event is for current members of LGBTQ+ inclusive water polo clubs first. 
  • Tickets will be on sale for $120+BF for Current Stingers members; then,
  • Tickets will go on sale for $120+BF for Sister club members (Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth) with a small number held back just in case; then,
  • the remaining tickets will be put on sale to Partners & Friends.
• We have agreed across the clubs that there will be a small number of spots held for each club (at least 8) until release of ticket sales for Partners & Friends. We will be holding back a small amount of the total tickets to ensure we can honour this agreement between the clubs which will be released when tickets go on sale for Partners & Friends.
• There will be a waitlist if you miss out on a ticket, although this will not be created until after all tickets are sold out and comms can go out to all clubs with a period of time to prepare to join the waitlist.
• You must learn the choreography and attend the required rehearsals. (A Facebook event will be created for rehearsals).
• Tickets are non-transferable - if you buy a ticket and you're unable to attend, contact Tom Cooney or Nathan Collett and they can assist. This is to keep it fair for everyone.
• Refunds are only given if we can pass your ticket on to someone else, less any booking fees.
• You must represent the club in a positive manner while you are in the parade or wearing the club outfits.

Swimsuit Sizing:

The swimsuit cuts and sizes are being developed with the Sydney Stingers team + Delfina as we speak. More info will be rolled out on the cuts and designs soon.
