HOOK IN2 HOCKEY (Beginner Program)

Hockey Queensland/Hockey Australia Registration & Insurance (paid direct to HQ/HA at time of registration) - $39.81
PLUS the IHA fee of $50 (paid to your club) which is a one off payment to cover all program costs for the entire season.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants who register for this beginner program ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to compete in club fixtures (E Grade/J2)

Program Details

The Hookin2Hockey (Hin2H) Program is for young children from 3 up to 9 years old wishing to start playing hockey and teaches them fundamental skills of the game.

The program involves 6 skills sessions (run over 6 weeks) followed 14 weeks of modified games (playing according to their age group - U5's, U7's and U9's) Saturday mornings 8:45am-9:45am.

Although we are a predominately female club we do have have plans to expand into the junior male competition and have a number of male Hin2H players as it is not gender specific.

Swifts have some fantastic offers for both Senior & Junior players, once a member sign on for the Swifts Hin2H program we offer a FREE hockey stick pack which includes stick/ball/shin pads/mouth guard. (do not click add pack at time of registration/ Swifts already have the packs and will be FREE)

We have two great committed players/parents Errin Cockerell & Thomas Cooper for our Hin2H program and would love to have you child join our club!

There is an Open Day on 03/02/2023 5pm-8pm if you are available this is great opportunity to meet us and ask any questions .For your information other Swifts discounts include - all NEW junior players receive a FREE mouth guard, we have 5% family discounts, Early Bird specials and great club events such as our Race Day 11/05/2024.

Please note that All Under 5's should be on the Hybrid Field (Field2) each week. Under 7's and 9's will abe on the Water Base (Field1)
