What | EOI are being sought for Keelboat Instructor course.
This course aims to teach instructors how to deliver the introductory courses of the Keelboat Program including Start Crewing and Start Helming. Participants will learn and practise effective techniques for theory and practical instructing with continuous feedback and support.
Our Aim | is to qualify as many Keelboat Instructors as possible so that the sailing project has a pool of instructors in multiple locations around Australia.
Course Prerequisites
- Be 16 years old and Water Confident
- Comply with the State/Territory legislation including, but not only, child protection laws (if applicable in that state). Please click here for details on your State/Territories child protection requirements.
- Hold the level of competence in the Program they wish to instruct
- Hold a current Australian HLTAID003/011 - Provide First Aid Certificate (or higher)

Cost | All SVSP supporters are to pay $150 which will be fully reimbursed on successful completion of the course.
