What | The regatta offers a safe, supportive environment for female sailors to enhance their capabilities and build confidence on the water. During the regatta, sailors will enjoy expert on-water and off-water coaching from experienced yachtswomen, windward/leeward race series' on Sydney Harbour and various social events at the RSYS Clubhouse including the popular morning Pilates.
Our Aim | is to sponsor/fund 80% of your regatta entry fee for a ladies crew of four SVSP registerd Supporters.
- SVSP wil provide Saltwater Veterans PFD and flags to #represent our community.
- It would be awesome if you would wear your Saltwater Veterans shirt as team uniform (avaliable from saltwaterveterans.org)
- Fun is the aim!

Inspirational Women Celebrate Sailing Dinner and Presentation
|
Both one design and mixed division boats get out on the water for a morning coaching session – usually consisting of some sort of drill to help build crew skills and confidence. The afternoon is 3 short races.
In the mixed division we rotate coaches on and off all of the boats. You do not have a coach with you all of the time but you will have them for a minimum of two sessions and most likely 3-4 sessions spread across the morning drills and the three afternoon races.
These were the entry costs for the sailing last year – entry is per person as we use this contribution to pay, house and feed our amazing collection of coaches over the weekend.
