EOIs will only be considered for Newcastle locality sailing participants and volunteers.

We have a limited amount of funding for Volunteers Courses funded through our sponsorship from Port Waratah for active supporters of the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project around Newcastle.

Tell us how & why you would like to support our veterans' sailing.  

We are aiming to empower as many people as possible to access this support, whilst we are looking to build capacity in and arround Newcastle.

Funding criteria

• must be a participant with Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project in Newcastle locality.
• must be an ADF veteran and/or dependent on an ADF veteran
• Applicants shall be a current/financial members of the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project upon acceptance of the funding for your course. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please reach out for further scholarship consideration.  
• SVSP will reimburst agreeed funding upon:
  • successful completion agreed to course
  • providing SVSP a copy of the course certificate and invoice.

Submissions will be assessed on the merit of demonstrated and future participation in the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project.
