The ACT Social 7s competition provides opportunities players aged 13 and above to participate in a fun, modified softball format with mixed gender teams. The modified rules maximise player enjoyment, all while developing basic softball skills over short 8-9 week seasons. All players bat to a slow pitched ball each inning and are able to play any position. The modified rules are simple and easy to learn as you play the game. The competition emphasises the social aspect with teams having the opportunity to win a team canteen voucher for a “closest to the pin” score each evening.
All games are played at the fields of the Hawker International Softball Centre on Wednesday evenings.

Social 7s is played on a Wednesday evening, alternating between the following start times:

A team shirt is available to loan for the season, players wear their own comfortable pants/shorts.
