Playing

Sutherland Softball Club provides playing opportunities for all ages and skill levels, from ages 4 to adult. There are pathways available for both competitive and social players.


This is a mixed gender competition with pathways for systematic skill development and engagement appropriate for each age group (4-17 years old).	The Women’s League competition provides opportunities for players of all skill levels aged 15 and above. The League has a competitive division (Premier League) and social divisions (C, D, and E grades).

The Men’s League competition provides opportunities for players of all skill levels aged 15 and above. There are elite divisions (A grade), development divisions (B grade) and social grades (C/D grades).	The Social 7s competition is a mixed-gender modified softball game that to maximises participation and enjoyment for players aged 13 and above. The competition is played in short, 8-week seasons in line with each of the school terms throughout the year.
