We are excited to announce the launch of Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the upcoming 2024-2025 Junior Water Polo Season. We invite all SCWP members to submit their EOIs to join our teams to compete in the Brisbane Water Polo Summer Competition (BWPI) and / or the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships (AYWPC). This is an excellent opportunity to represent the Sunshine Coast and join our training program under the guidance of our highly experienced State and National Coaches.

Brisbane Water Polo Summer Competition (BWPI):
- Location: Brisbane
- Trial Date: Early August
- Training Block: Starts Late August
- Term 4 Playing Dates: 12 Oct - 23 Nov 2024
- Term 1 Playing Dates: 1 Feb - 15 Mar 2025
Junior & Grade Divisions Age Qualifications:
- U12 Boys & Girls (Born 2013 – 2017)
- U13 Boys & Girls (Born 2012 – 2015)
- U14 Boys & Girls (Born 2011 – 2014)
- U15 Boys & Girls (Born 2010 – 2013)
- U16 Boys & Girls (Born 2009 – 2012)
- U17 Girls (Born 2008 – 2011)
- U18 Boys & Girls (Born 2007 – 2010)
- “A & B Grade” Men’s & Women’s (Born 2008 – Earlier)
Australian Youth Water Polo Championships (AYWPC):
- Week 1: 14-18 April 2025: 18&U and 14&U age groups
- Week 2: 20-24 April 2025: 16&U and 12&U age groups
- Location: Perth
- Divisions: U12 - U18

EOI Closes: July 5th
Confirmation of Interest: mid July
BWPI Deposit: $150 (refunded if not selected into a team).

Other things to note for the upcoming season:
- This EOI will not cover the 2025 State Titles, however tentative dates have been set for 5 -13 April 2025 on the Gold Coast.
- This EOI will not cover the 2024 Junior Country Championship and tentative dates and location have yet to be provided.
- More information on State Titles and JCC will be provided by your clubs when the information is known.
