Sunshine Coast Water Polo is thrilled to announce an exclusive Junior Coaches Course on Saturday, 31 August 2024, from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm at St Andrews Aquatic Centre. This course offers a unique opportunity to enhance your coaching abilities with a blend of practical in-water sessions and theory-based learning.
Course Overview:
Led by the experienced Georgina Kovacs-Muller, this program is open to all members born between 2007 and 2010. Whether you're new to coaching or looking to sharpen your skills, this course will cover everything from hands-on techniques to real-world coaching applications. The practical session will be followed by assessments and mentorship throughout the program, ensuring ongoing development.
What’s Included:
- In-water practical sessions: Learn essential skills, such as the eggbeater kick, through personal practice before applying them in coaching.
- Theory-based learning: Gain a deeper understanding of coaching fundamentals.
- Mentorship: Continue to be supported and guided throughout the coaching program.
- Assessment: Ongoing assessments with a potential practical assessment during BMJC pre-season training (details pending).
