SCHA Board are calling for nominations for the 2021 Umpiring Subcommittee.  Nominations close 5pm Friday  4th December 2020.  

Role of the Umpiring Subcommittee:

a. maintain a list of all umpires nominated by affiliated clubs and make recommendations regarding umpire allocations for all association matches, in consultation with the Competitions Subcommittee;

b. recommend umpires to accompany teams participating in representative competitions, for consideration by the board

c. provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for umpires;

d. examine and test umpires for accreditation purposes;

e. promote and develop access to zone, state and national level umpiring experiences for umpires;

f. liaise with the Hockey Queensland Umpires Mentor regarding development of umpires;

g. maintain stocks of umpire equipment;

h. provide the minutes and recommendations from any subcommittee meeting to the board within seven days of the subcommittee meeting being held.
