SCHA Board are calling for nominations for the 2021 Sports Development Subcommittee.  Nominations close 5pm Friday  4th December 2020.  

Role of the Sports Development  Subcommittee:

a. be responsible for short and long-term plans for development of association players;

b. be responsible for preparing operational guidelines for representative coaches, managers, umpires and technical officers;

c. ensure coaching personnel implement suitable coaching plans and programs, which comply with the goals and objectives of the association;

d. supervise, coordinate, support and monitor representative coaches;

e. foster the development of coaching programs in clubs and schools;

f. develop and maintain a resource library for access by representative and club coaches;

g. be responsible for preparing and implementing guidelines for:

i selection of representative teams;

ii timelines for selection of representative teams;

iii representative players and officials.

h. liaise with representative team selectors in relation to selection processes and procedures and supervise the operation of selection panels;

i. liaise with representative team managers to ensure travel, uniforms and all other team arrangements comply with association policies and guidelines;

j. work with other subcommittees as necessary;

k. provide the minutes and recommendations from any subcommittee meeting to the board within seven days of the subcommittee meeting being held.
