SCHA Board are calling for nominations for the 2021 Competitons & Rules of Play Subcommittee.  Nominations close 5pm Friday  4th December 2020.  

Role of the Competitions & ROP Subcommittee:

a. prepare and recommend a yearly competition structure for the association;

b. prepare a program of fixtures and finals for all competitions;

c. provide a complete fixture draw for the first four weeks of fixtures at least one week prior to the winter fixture season commencing;

d. provide a complete fixture draw for the remainder of the winter fixture season by completion of the first four weeks of competition;

e. be responsible for all amendments and changes to the competition draw to account for postponements and alterations;

f. keep the board informed regarding:

i suitability and allocation of times and details of matches;

ii any other matters relating to competitions, fixture draws and finals.

g. liaise with the Umpiring Subcommittee and Technical Subcommittee in relation to the fixture draw and any other matters relating to competitions;

h. liaise with the Grounds Officer and Grounds Person in relation to suitability of and allocation of fields and grounds;

i. liaise with the Events and Marketing Subcommittee in relation to:

i promotion and marketing of all association competitions and special events;

ii media information, preparation for publication of fixture programs, results and feature articles;

j. provide the minutes and recommendations from any subcommittee meeting to the board within seven days of the subcommittee meeting being held.
