It is some dismay that we say farewell to our long serving Patron, Janet Tallon. Even Janet says she can't remember when she became our patron but its been at least 15 years. The boffins are madly scurrying about to confirm the actual date.

In her farewell, Janet commented that patrons are not a common thing these days but the members agreed wholeheartedly that they'd have her stay on, if she wished. Janet is taking leave of some of her public duties as she "winds down".
