- When does the season start?

Each Summer season starts mid-October.

- How long does the season go for?

The season commences mid-October, taking a break over the Christmas break for the length of the school holidays, and is played through to the end of March (this includes final series).

- How much are registration fees?

Registration fees vary each season, and can also vary depending on the age of the player.

- What are the clubs colours?

Storm Softball Club’s colours are Grey, White & Black.

- Do I need my own equipment?

For beginners, you will need your own glove/mitt, cleats, and shin pads. The club is able to provide batting helmets & bats when required.

- Can I still play if I’m pregnant?

Please refer to the ‘Softball Australia Pregnancy Guidelines’ located under the ‘Resources’ tab.

- What days do you train?

Training days for each team are decided upon by the Coaching Staff of each team. Any preferences or requirements are always taken into account.

- How long do training sessions go for?

 The time-frame of each training session can range from 1 hour to 2 hours. This is decided by our team’s Coaching Staff, but parents will always be notified by their Team Manager.

- Are your teams mixed or single gender?

 Yes, all of our junior teams are mixed. However, our ‘Open Aged/Seniors' teams are single gender.

- My child has a learning disability, can he/she still play?

 Yes, of course! All of our Coaching Staff have the tools, experience and information that they require to be able to work with learning disabilities.

- I/My child hasn’t made up their mind if they’re 100% sure that they would like to play, what do we do?

If you ever find yourself, or your child to be having a difficult time deciding, simply make contact with the club stormsoftball@hotmail.com.au and we will be more than happy to help you out!

- I/My child haven’t played before, does that matter?

No, most certainly not! Storm Softball Club have many years of experience and knowledge, at both club and representative levels that we can most certainly assist develop all players to their full potential, and beyond!

- How much does the uniform cost?

 The costs involved for our uniform can vary, which will depend on age groups, preferences and whether or not you are a returner or a 'first timer'. Be sure to speak to one of our club representatives for further information regarding your requirements.

- When do registrations open?

 Registrations open around June/July. However if you are interested, and you're not sure, just contact the club with an email, and we will be sure to reply with all the information you're after!

- How can I help out within the club?

There are many ways in which parents, & other family members can help out within the club. The positions can vary anywhere from coaching, through to potentially holding a position within the commitee. If you are interested in assisting our amazing club build, be sure to speak with one of our current committee members!
