From its humble beginning in 1933, St. Kilda, Cricket Table Tennis Club has, arguably, grown into the most powerful, most successful, most financial, and best known Club in the Table Tennis Victoria Association.
In fact there is no doubt that no other Table Tennis Club in Australia can match its proud record. St. Kilda Cricket Table Tennis Club is the first T.T.V. Club to achieve its 75th birthday. It has won more Winter "A" (now called Metro 1) premierships than any other club - 19, and it is the only Club to have won the Pennant in five successive years, 1946 - 1950. It was the first Club to have dual Australian born National Singles champions - Kerry Thompson and Bob Tuckett in 1979.
