All club members are asked to consider and nominate any club member they believe is deserving of any of our major club awards.
Nominations should be sent to Stacey Theologou by email on stacey_theologou@hotmail.com or by mobile on 0428 162400. Please include your reasons and details of the members contribution to support the nomination.
Closing date is Wednesday 30th September.
Awards criteria:
Life Members: Any person having rendered 10 years exceptional service to the Club may be elected as a Life Member.
Peter Cibich Award: The Peter Cibich Memorial Award is to honour Peter's many years of service and enormous contribution to Steel City. The award is presented annually to the person who has shown outstanding leadership and commitment to the club (Club Person of the Year).
Junior Club Person Award: The junior award is similar to the intent of the Peter Cibich Award and focuses on outstanding leadership and commitment to the club by a junior club member (Junior Club Person of the Year).
Goal Machine: The goal machine is a tounge in cheek award and can be given for a variety of reasons. It might be for an exceptional year of extreme goal scoring OR it might be given to someone who has been scoreless all year.
