Norman-Fraser Cup - Steel City Hockey Club vs Waratah Hockey Club - Wednesday 27th to Saturday 30th July

This year Steel City will take on Waratah for our Legends Cup round. The Legend SCHC has chosen to honour is Marion Norman. Everyone that has passed through SCHC would know the name Marion Norman (Bremner).

Marion Norman (nee Bremner)

Marion was a founding member of our club and has played every season since. A committee member, coach, player, Marion has done everything possible in her time with the club. A member of our inaugural Women’s A Grade premiership team in 1981. Club Treasurer for 15 years (1981-1995). With many more achievements and roles to list.

At SCHC we pride ourselves on being a family club and this is 100% reinforced by the entire Norman family. We invite all our past and present members, especially all that have shared some time with Marion in the green and blue, to come and celebrate our club legend and SCHC over the weekend., and lift the Norman-Fraser Cup.

  • What if a match is a draw? When the match is drawn, at the completion of normal time a 1 on 1 competition will be held in accordance with the WHA rules.
  • How points are tallied. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw (+1 shootout winner), 0 points for a loss.
