Once Level 1 has been mastered it is time to step into Level 2.  Our instructors will do a refresher of the core skills learnt in Level 1, followed by a build up to Level 2 standard with our main aim of Level 2 being to focus on gripping the tiller, body position and mainsheet. Stripy Squad Level 2 usually requires 20 hours of course time to progress to Level 3.

Course Overview
This course equips participants with boat rigging knowledge and sailing skills to sail a dinghy on their own. 

Course Prerequisites

Water confident, and the skills and knowledge gained in Start Sailing 1.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who have completed Start Sailing 1 and are wanting to learn and continue to develop their fundamental sailing skills.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Sailing 2 completion certificate.
