With our winter season just around the corner and the Northern hemisphere wrapping up their season after many of our guests spending time overseas, now is the time to visit the NSTC!
There are opportunities to visit the NSTC for both Park sessions and Acro classes each week and our staff are always on hand to give tips to assist if you are working on a specific trick or just want to have some fun.
The Clubhouse has been in operation for the last month and is working well as the entrance to the NSTC Park. The clubhouse serves as the check-in point to the Park and enables staff to check equipment before heading out to the airbags. Staff are available to check and wax your equipment, or you can purchase wax to apply at home before you arrive. There is a small variety of drinks and snacks available to keep you hydrated and fueled throughout your session.
In the Acro hall, the installation of the bungee and harness system over the trampolines has now been completed and guests who have been able to use the equipment so far have been very excited.
To book into any of our community Park sessions or Acro classes, please visit the NSTC website
The NSTC facilities are available for private bookings for groups of friends, schools, corporate or sporting teams and even kid’s birthday parties. Enquiries can be made via email nstc@snow.org.au

Registrations for Acro classes during Term 2 will open from 12 April. Permanent bookings are available at a 10% discount of $234 for the 10-week term while casual classes can be booked on an individual basis at $26 pp. Week 1 will commence Tuesday 30 April.
During term 2, we will be dedicating the 4.45 – 5.45pm Wednesday class for 13–16 yrs as a female only class. Recent studies have shown that overall, 43% of teenage girls are found to not play sport, the top reasons being, that they don’t like sport, feel that they are not good enough, their physical fitness isn’t adequate or there is too much pressure on them to perform.
As part of the Snow Australia “Women of Winter” initiative, this class will provide young girls the opportunity to engage in a fun activity, in a safe environment where they don’t feel intimidated or pressured to perform to a certain standard or try something new. We encourage all girls to grab a friend and sign up for an hour of fun activities!
The NSTC Acro also caters for adult sessions (17+) on Tuesday nights from 7pm. Bring some friends along and join the 90min session of unstructured, user-directed sessions. Working on a particular trick? The NSTC staff can give tips to help you master that trick which can then be taken to either the airbag or straight to snow. Booking casual adult sessions can be done online or at the venue (subject to availability) and discounts apply for financial members of Snow Australia.
We will also be holding our Community School Holiday classes during the April school holidays on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. These classes will run for 90mins from 4pm and are a great school holiday activity. Registrations will open April 2. Spaces will be limited.
Acro is a great activity, whether you are looking to improve your skills, get a workout, or simply have fun. Bookings can be made online for financial members only, and the schedule full can be viewed HERE.

National Integrity Framework (NIF) |
To provide sports at all levels with guidance in the integrity space, independent government agency Sport Integrity Australia (SIA), developed the National Integrity Framework (NIF) which Snow Australia adopted in June 2022. The NIF provides a consistent set of policies across all sport in Australia so for the first time there are national standards regardless of which sport an athlete participates in. Snow Australia is one of more than 80 National Sporting Organisations (NSOs) and National Sporting Organisations for people with Disability (NSODs) that have adopted the NIF and so are playing their part in building a national system that works to keep sport clean, fair and safe for all.
Together with SIA, Snow Australia have defined the behaviours that have no place in our sport. The NIF includes five policies with each policy detailing the behaviours and expectations placed on participants and organisations:
• Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy
• Member Protection Policy
• Improper Use of Drugs and Medications Policy
• Competition Manipulation and Sports Gambling Policy
• Complaints Disputes and Discipline Policy
All Snow Australia members are protected by and bound by these policies and it is important that all members familiarise themselves with each policy. The policies are available on the Snow Australia website and you can find a number of resources on the SIA website including a Fact Sheet and a short video explaining the NIF.
For more information or to report an integrity concern please contact Snow Australia's National Integrity Manager Jen Krawczyk (jkrawczyk@snow.org.au).
