NSTC Update - September 2023

The NSTC has continued to be a hive of activity as the winter snow season winds down for 2023.  While the 2023 season has been challenging it hasn’t slowed down at the NSTC.  Many of our Australian high-performance athletes have been of training at the NSTC taking advantage of the Airbag, Acro and newly refurbished gym to prepare themselves for the upcoming Northern season.

International athletes also continue to train at the facility with extremely positive reviews. Some are already planning on returning in the future and we look forward to seeing their progress over the next couple of months.

The facility continues to be upgraded with works completed on the installation of the safety net along the side of the high performance bag.

The NSTC Clubhouse is currently being installed as this e-news is published. This is very exciting as it will provide a well-equipped space for guests to check into the airbag sessions along with changerooms, lockers, equipment hire and a video analysis room.  Watch this space for updates and photos on when the Clubhouse will be available to access.

The community sessions for both Park and Acro will continue throughout the summer.  These sessions have been filling fast so to secure your spot in the coming weeks, please ensure that you book online:

•   NSTC Acro Sessions
•   NSTC Park Sessions

We look forward to seeing you at the NSTC soon!

Park Maintenance

We will be looking to conduct some maintenance within the NSTC facility throughout October.  There may be some sessions which are disrupted during this time, however we will aim to keep this to a minimum.  We thank you for your patience while this occurs.

Lost Property

There are a number of lost property items which have accumulated over Term 3.  If you are missing, school jumpers, jackets, beanies, or drink bottles, please check our lost property box at the Reception office.  Any unclaimed items at the end of the year will either be donated to the Jindabyne Op Shop or disposed.

Car Parking

The safety of all visitors, especially children, at the NSTC is paramount.  We ask that parents please do not use the top roadway to drop off or pick up children from Acro or Park sessions.  Please park in the bottom car park and walk your children to the entrance of the building.

You will note that there is now overflow parking available across from the main car park which is available when the activity in and around the NSTC is busy.   Parking in the area of the athlete houses is not permitted.
