As we reach the end of 2023, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone for your wonderful support of the NSTC this year.

2023 has been full of highlights as we were finally able to occupy the new John Langley Hancock building in May, with the building becoming fully operational in July. Our dedicated staff have worked very hard during the last 6 months to get the NSTC operational and returning to the regular scheduling of activities. Our guests have also been amazing with their patience and adaptability as we navigated the handover of the new facility at the start of the busy Australian winter.

Good luck to all the athletes and park guests heading overseas for competition and snow trips during the 2024 northern winter.

NSTC December update:

The last 6 months have seen the NSTC achieve the Snow Australia vision of a fully functioning world-class training facility for everyone from High-performance athletes to fun-filled local community programs.

Here is a snapshot of what the action packed second half of 2023 looked like at the NSTC:

• John Langley Hancock Building handover – May.
• Gym fully operational for High-Performance athletes – June.
• NSTC Acro facility opening - July
• International teams and domestic clubs using the NSTC – August and September
• New NSTC Park Clubhouse installation – September
• New indoor Acro airbag and padding installed – December (see photo).

What’s next in 2024?

Opening of the new NSTC Park Clubhouse is planned in January 2024. The entrance to the new Clubhouse will be to the right of the John Langley Hancock Building (see photo). Another new tower will soon be installed to allow athletes to access the medium jump on the development airbag. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements in 2024.

The Summer Acro School Holiday Program at the NSTC is the perfect way to keep children active during the summer holidays. The 90-minute sessions will commence from Saturday the 6th of January, and will run each week on Thursday afternoons between 4:00pm and 5:30pm, and Saturday mornings between 9:00am and 10:30am.

Children aged between 5 and 16 years are welcome to join these supervised, casual drop-in sessions. Classes will be capped at 8 guests per session, and financial members can pre-book sessions on-line. The unstructured sessions represent great value at $35 pp/session.

If you feel like you are missing out because your social media feed is full of people overseas skiing and boarding this northern winter, we have the perfect solution for you. The NSTC Park Sessions are now available for bookings from the 5th of January, 2024.

The January 2024 schedule will feature the following:

Wednesday / Sunday – Development Airbag only.
Friday / Saturday – both the Development and High-Performance Airbags.
Intro2Plastic sessions are available Friday and Saturday for 1st timers ($15pp)
NSTC financial members can book sessions for $66pp/session.

Are you keen to use the NSTC facility during summer?  Sign up for the NSTC Summer Access Membership for only $35!

This membership allows members to attend programs at the NSTC over summer for those who do not already have a NSTC Access or discipline specific Snow Australia membership.

The NSTC Summer Access Membership is valid through until 30 April,2024 and is a 50% discount on a full NSTC Access membership price.
