Dear Park and Pipe Community,
The winter season may be long gone in Australia, with summer about to begin this week, but the season over in the Northern hemisphere is alive and well with plenty of Park and Pipe action throughout December.
The Beijing Big Air World Cup kicked off yesterday with the Freeski qualifications, skier Kai Martin was the only Australian representative, fresh off his 37th place finish last week in Stubai. Martin finished 18th in his qualification heat, missing the finals for the event, which takes place on the 2nd of December. The qualifiers for the snowboard event began this afternoon, with 2022 Winter Olympics Bronze medalist, Tess Coady, making her 2023-24 Northern season World Cup debut. Along with Tess will be Valentino Guseli and Josh Robertson-Hahn, in the men’s event who will each look to podium to get their Northern campaigns off to a good start.

Keep an eye out for some great content from the camp over the next week.
As always stay safe and enjoy your summer, and for those overseas, we look forward to hearing more about your Northern winter and seeing your results as you continue to progress.
