Dylan Carey Brings Legal Expertise to the Squash Queensland Board

Squash Queensland is pleased to announce the appointment of Dylan Carey from Cairns Squash to the Squash Queensland Board. Dylan brings a wealth of legal expertise and board experience with him to the role as a director. 

Dylan is a solicitor and director at O’Connor Law in Cairns, practicing predominantly in the areas of corporate and commercial law. Dylan is an active squash player and committee member of the Cairns and District Squash Rackets Association, presently serving as secretary of the association. Dylan has significant board experience, currently being the honorary solicitor of U3A Cairns, and formerly being the President of the Far North Queensland Law Association, a former director of Arts Nexus Incorporated, and a former member of the Queensland Law Society Early Career Lawyers committee. Outside of work and squash, Dylan enjoys good wine, coffee, and food.

Dylan joins fellow board members Andrew Dent (President), Gayle Baxter (Vice President), Debjani Maitra (Treasurer), Liz Irving, Peter Cusack and Shantel Netzler (CEO & Secretary).
