Revised schedule for 2025 Easy Times Brewing Co. Squash Australian Open
Published Sat 08 Mar 2025
The 2025 Easy Times Brewing Co. Squash Australian Open to go ahead with revised schedule.
The 2025 Easy Times Brewing Co. Squash Australian Open scheduled for Brisbane’s South Bank Piazza will now be played from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th March, due to the impact of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
With large sections of Brisbane City and the domestic and international airports shut down for the last three days by the weather event, it has become necessary to delay the start by one day to ensure players can arrive in Brisbane following flight delays and cancellations, and the venue can be safely constructed over the next few days.
With Round 1 now taking place on Wednesday 12th March, the first quarter-finals session scheduled for Thursday evening will be moved to a new Friday afternoon session. See below for the full revised schedule.
Tickets already purchased will be valid for the rescheduled sessions. Ticketholders from impacted sessions will be contacted directly by Ticketek on Monday with their options for the rescheduled sessions.
All semi-final and finals sessions remain unaffected, and the Squash Australian Open Gala Dinner which includes the Squash Australia Annual Awards and the induction of Geoff Hunt & Michelle Martin to the PSA Hall of Fame will go ahead as scheduled on Monday 10th March.
Tickets are still available at: https://www.squashausopen.
