SEASON WRAP NEWSLETTER

Another successful Spiral season over with Peter Eslick winning the Travellers Trophy and Chris Eddie's taking the State and Nationals double. Well done Peter and Chris. The full results of all our events are on the website, which is worth a look.

NEXT SEASON.  Dates are starting to firm up for next season, with the States to be at the Teralba Regatta 25-26 November,2023.  Australia Day is on a Friday the 26th January so the Nationals will be a three day regatta hosted by Oak Flats SC Fromm 26 th to the 28th of January 2024.

MASTERS GAMES.  At least 10 Spiral sailors are now planning to go to Adelaide, 10-12 October, 2023.  Talk to any of the committee if you are at all interested in going. Links to Info and NoR are available on the Spiral Website.

AGE DIVISIONS.  At the July meeting the committee voted to change the Spiral Age Divisions so as to create a better spread of the current members throughout the various divisions. The new divisions can be found on the spiral website on the Documents and Notices Page.

SAILS BULK ORDER.  Contact Mark McConnell if you are interested in joining in.

USED SPIRALS.  Keep checking the website for a good range of used Spirals for sale, now including photos.  In the past a lack of used boats has held the class back but that should not be the case now.  As I previously mentioned, draw your friends attention to this service on the website and try to encourage them to get into a Spiral.  There are few classes that are less expensive to campaign, and what a group of wonderful Spiral sailors your friends will get to know!

Enjoy your winter sailing.
