Risk & Responsibility, Indemnity, and Acceptance of the ISAF Racing Rules, Special Regulations of the AYF, Class Restrictions, Sailing Instructions and Notice of Race

All those taking part in the Spiral Association of Australia State Championships do so at their own risk and responsibility. The Spiral Association of Australia Inc., is not responsible for the seaworthiness of a yacht whose entry is accepted. The Spiral Association of Australia reserves the right to refuse entry. Attention is drawn to RRS Rule 4, “The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone.”

I hereby release the Spiral Association of Australia Inc., the host Sailing Club and any representative thereof, from any claim or demand that I may have or deem to have on my behalf arising out of the regatta and indemnify the Spiral Association of Australia Inc., the host club and any representative thereof against any claim that may be made. I declare that I have the necessary third party liability insurance.

I agree to be bound by the racing rules of the I.S.A.F. (International Sailing Federation), the prescriptions and Special Regulations of the AYF and the Spiral Class Restrictions, all as modified by the Sailing Instructions.

I have read the Notice of Race for the event and agree to the terms and conditions therein.
