Late registrations for this event are closed.

The Championship Regatta for outright and handicap prizes is open to boats holding current “A” class registration with the Hartley TS16 Association of Australia Inc.

Non “A” Class boats may enter in the handicap series only, at the discretion of the Organising Authority, and will not be eligible for championship placings.

All helmspersons shall be financial members of the Hartley TS16 Association of Australia Inc. Proof of registration may be required.

Boats may enter by completing the entry form and sending it to The Race Secretary, Paul Pritcahrd , 1/83 Second Avenue, Kingswood NSW 2747 before 5.00pm Friday 13th Dec. 2019.  Late entries will be accepted up to 1200 hours on 28th Dec. 2019 at the registration office at SPASC.

Race schedule will be announced at the briefing.  Maximum of 2 races in any one session (which will be sailed back to back).

The schedule may change at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.  Re-sails are at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

No warning signal will be made on Friday 3rd  Jan. 2020 after 1355 hours.

Racing will take place in the northern end of Lake Macquarie in the vicinity of the SPASC clubhouse.

Courses will be described in the Sailing instruction but will be a triangular design.

The sailing instructions will be available on the Hartley TS16 website before the regatta and at the registration office.

The Low Point System of RRS Appendix A will apply.

A maximum of 7 races are scheduled, of which 4 are required to constitute a series.

(a) When 4 races are completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores; and

(b) When 5 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her races scores, excluding her worst score.

Event handicaps will be back calculated from the results of the first 3 races and then applied to all races, with automatic adjustment by computer program.
