Entries are invited for the 2024 'Lake Mac' O'pen Skiff Champs organised by Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club, to be held from Saturday 26 to Sunday 27 October 2024.
Registrations are open to sailors aged 8 to 20 years old as at 1 October 2024.
The regatta is open to boats complying with the current O’pen Skiff and ILCA (4,6,7) class rules.
O'pen Skiffs will be available for charter via the Association but their availability may be limited. The charter fee is $160 and can be booked online direct via this link.

All sailors shall be financial members of a yacht club that is affiliated with Australian Sailing or their MNA, and must have a current Australian Sailing (AS) Number. Find your current AS Number here: https://www.sailing.org.au/member-finder/
Competitors and guardians shall abide by the Australian Sailing Member Protection Policy and Procedures.
Entry into Silver and Green Fleet must be approved by the AUS O’pen Skiff Class Association.
A regatta entry fee of $80 per boat is payable via this online registration form for entries received prior to midnight October 18, 2024.
An additional Late Entry registration fee of $15 per boat applies for entries received online after midnight October 18, 2024.
Entries close midnight Friday 25 October, 2024.
Payments must be made at the time of registration via credit/debit card.

- No more than 3 races will be sailed back-to-back in any session.
- A number of non-scoring adventure type races may be sailed during the event which will not count towards the overall point score.
- No warning signal will be made after 1430 on October 27.
Course Area will be in the area known as Cockle Bay and Warners Bay surrounds, Lake Macquarie.

All persons planning to use their Powerboats/RIB's at this regatta shall register with SPASC HERE.
We will allow participants to sleep in swags in the upstairs area of the SPASC Clubhouse, providing they are accompanied by a parent/guardian, by prior booking at no cost – contact SPASC secretary Bec Greentree, email spascsailing@gmail.com
Camping is available onsite on club grounds - 6 spaces are available by prior appointment at a cost of $35 per night payable upon registration. Please note, at no time is the parking of Caravans, Campervans and RV's permitted on the Speers Point Park reserve (grassed area).
