This page is an Expression of Interest (EoI) for young sailors wishing to register their interest for potential SPASC's Feb-Apr 2025 Junior Sailing Programs.

Our full season programs for 2024-25 are filling rapidly so this EoI request is to allow us to consider offering additional courses if possible.

Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club (SPASC) is an accredited Australian Sailing "Discover Centre" (DSC) with accredited Dinghy & Assistant Instructors.  DSC’s adhere to standards that ensure safety and customer satisfaction, in order to attain and retain this status. 

With a range of courses and coaching SPASC has a pathway to take to sailors with very little sailing experience to a competitive racing level.  We understand that racing is not for everyone so we ensure that we include fun learning games and adventure sails into our program

Current Junior Sailing Programs involve Optimists, O’pen Skiffs and ILCA (Laser) classes. Younger kids will always start in an Optimist in our Start Sailing 1-2 course, as this is the most stable design, then progress to Open Skiffs and ILCAs.

Eligible persons must be either SPASC Family or Junior members to enrol in our courses once they are offered.
