Our Saturday Transition to Racing is designed for sailors who have completed the Green Fleet Program, or our Learn to Sail adult program, and can demonstrate the necessary sailing skills and competencies to begin to compete within a standard racing course.
There is no coaching permitted during the racing however there will be a few coaching clinics before or after racing throughout the series.
Sailors are expected to be competent, know the rules and have their own boat, although club boats may be available for charter.

Eligible classes: Optimist, O’pen Skiff and Laser.
Eligible persons must be either SPASC Family, Senior or Junior members
A Junior Saturday Racing Program Fee is payable via this online registration and must be completed prior to attending the program. The costs are:
- $330.00 for full season per person using SPASC Club Optimist, O’pen Skiff or Laser.
- $100 for full season per person where member owns a suitable boat.
- $55 for single day racing with SPASC club boat included if boats are available (email to check first well in advance please) - payable on the day at the club.
Active Kids Vouchers
The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the new Active Kids program and Australian Sailing is an approved provider. From 31 January 2018, parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher valued up to $100 per calendar year for each school-enrolled child. The voucher may be used with an approved activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities. Apply for your voucher online HERE
