Late registrations for this event are closed.

The Championship Regatta for outright and handicap prizes is open to boats holding current “A” class registration with the Hartley TS16 Association of Australia Inc, and skippers who are members of the Hartley TS16 Association of NSW and ACT.

Boat’s and crews who are members of other state associations of the Australian Hartley TS16 Association Inc. are also invited to enter the regatta.

Non “A” Class boats may enter but will not be eligible for championship placings.  However special prizes may be awarded to non “A” Class entrants and interstate sailors.

All skippers shall be members of the Hartley TS16 Association of Australia Inc. Proof of registration may be required.

Boats may enter by completing the attached entry form and sending it to (name and address) by (date and time).  Late entries will be accepted after the (date) and before 11am on 29 September 2018 at the registration office at SPASC.

Race schedule will be announced at the briefing.  Maximum of 2 races in any one session (which will be sailed back to back).

The schedule may change at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.  Re-sails are at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

No warning signal will be made on Monday 1st October after 1130.

Racing will take place in the northern end of Lake Macquarie in the vicinity of the SPASC clubhouse.

Courses will be described in the Sailing instruction but will be a triangular design.

The sailing instructions will be available on the Hartley TS16 website before the regatta and at the registration office.

The Low Point System of RRS Appendix A will apply.

A maximum of 5 races are scheduled, of which three must be completed to constitute a series.

(a) When fewer than five races are completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores; and

(b) When five races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her races scores, excluding her worst score.

Handicaps will be back calculated from the results of the first three heats and then applied to all races.
