Our Junior Saturday Racing Designed for students aged 10 to 17 years who have completed the Green Fleet Program and can demonstrate the necessary sailing skills and competencies to compete within a standard racing course.
If kids want to do more racing, they move from Green Fleet into club racing. Junior club racing is held on Saturday afternoons and Friday Twilights and open for sailors of Optimist, O’pen Skiff, and Lasers.
Participants in the junior fleet will race competitively to fine tune their intermediate level sailing skills. The better sailors in the fleet will also participate in class regattas to gain experience competing in larger fleets with more competition.
Current sailing classes in our Junior Saturday Racing are Optimists, O’pen Skiffs & Lasers.
Eligible persons must be either SPASC Family or Junior members

Active Kids Vouchers
The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the new Active Kids program and Australian Sailing is an approved provider. From 31 January 2018, parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher valued up to $100 per calendar year for each school-enrolled child. The voucher may be used with an approved activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities. Apply for your voucher online HERE
