In the announcement yesterday, we were all hoping hear easing of restrictions that would allow us to commence our 2021/22 season early October as planned. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the news we all wanted to hear.

At the time of this email, Softball ACT has postponed the start of our 2021/22 season to Saturday 13th November for Juniors and Women’s League and Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th November for our Men’s League. However, this is subject to any further lockdown extensions and the Return to Play policy governed by ACT Health.

With the continued uncertainty, the Softball ACT Board are working on various options available to provide a quality value for money experience for our members. They are looking at different competition formats, fee structures, timeframes etc. should further lockdowns occur or Government restrictions impact the season.

To assist the Board with competition options, we kindly ask that people complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the upcoming 2021/22 season. There is no financial obligation to completing the EOI and doesn’t confirm your registration to a club. It provides the Board with an understanding of interested members and what options are available to for when we can get back on the diamond.
