Most household recycling goes out with the fortnightly bin collection, if this is the case i ask that you put aside your "yellow bin bottles" and deposit them at your nearest collection centre.
Eastgardens ground floor car park has one.But thee are several around the place. If you go to the return and earn site they will tell you what containers are suitable , https://www.epa.nsw.gov.au/…/recycling-and-…/return-and-earn
You could also ask your neighbors to throw their cans over the fence, bring home water bottles that would otherwise end up in the bin. If you haven't got time to deposit the bottles, bring then to training and I'll do it.
Attached above is a bar code.
You will need to scan the bar code at the bottle collection station before you start.
When you finish depositing your bottles press the PAYOUT BUTTON, NOT THE DONATE BUTTON otherwise the money will be donated to some other charity.
We will post fortnightly updates on our progress.
Rex started the ball rolling already by cleaning out his car whilst at Eastgardens this last night.
If you work for a pub, or a bottle shop, or an RSL...and it wasn't too much trouble maybe you could convince them to donate their bottles to us as well ?
