South Sydney Senior Athletics club says welcome to Randwick Botany Little Athletics Clubs new season and we also welcome those Canturbury Little Athletics Club dual memberships . However some members of both clubs may not be aware of this, but as a member of Randwick Botany Little “A”s’, or Canturbury Little "A"'s  if you are aged from under 12 to Under 17, for a small fee  you are entitled to dual membership with Athletics NSW  .

WHO IS ATHLETICS NSW (ANSW)?

Athletics NSW is the ‘senior’ body for Athletics in NSW and has a range of events which cater for people from 11 years through to 100+ years. Athletics NSW works closely with Little Athletics NSW (LANSW) to cater for athletes of all ages. Just like Little athletics who have local Clubs the senior athletics also have senior clubs. “Randwick Botany Little Athletics Club” is the feeder club for  ”South Sydney Senior Athletics club”.

 WHAT IS A DUAL MEMBERSHIP? *

Dual membership provides a pathway for U12 – U17 LANSW members to join an ANSW club and participate in ANSW events. This provides a pathway for suitably talented athletes to qualify for both State and National championships in their specified event and age group at a senior club level. This qualifying criterion is separate too little athletics.

WHICH ATHLETICS NSW CLUB SHOULD I PICK?
As stated, Randwick Botany Little Athletics Club is then Feeder club for South Sydney Senior Athletics Club, so for a small fee, we hope that you pick us. However, this is up to you? if you want to take advantage of what senior clubs have to offer, pick an ANSW club like South Sydney during your LANSW registration and pay an extra $15.00 by going to registrations on this site and clicking on the community member box. Otherwise use the list on the website to identify if your LANSW centre has a relationship with an ANSW club. As stated, our relationship is with South Sydney. There is no need to register with ANSW or an ANSW club once your LANSW rego is done.

UNIFORMS?
You must wear a senior club ANSW uniform to compete at ANSW events. Contact me care of damienlduncan@hotmail.com to arrange for a club uniform if you choose South Sydney senior Athletics Club.

BIB NUMBERS?

 ANSW requires a bib on the front and back of your uniform. You will receive a dual number between 35 000 and 45 000 on two cloth bibs. Put one on your LANSW uniform and the other on your ANSW uniform.  You can pick up a third bib at ANSW events to wear so that your ANSW bib will have two

ANSW EVENTS?
With the help of clubs, on most Saturday afternoons ANSW hosts senior graded track and field events between September and March and cross country/road running, including a host of fun runs across the state, between April and November.
