Day SailPASS - (Introduction for new sailors only)
At SYC, we make it easy and affordable for you to try out Sailing and our Yacht Club facilities without having to immediately subscribe to annual membership.
The Club provides a “SailPASS Membership” at a minimal cost which then enables you to then access crewing opportunities for Sailing on our beautiful Gold Coast waterways.
Included in your SailPASS Membership is:
- Access to all SYC Clubhouse’s and facilities for the day.
- A temporary Australian Sailing number for Personal Injury Insurance for the day. Details of insurance cover from Australian Sailing are online: Australian Sailing Member Insurance
- A $20.00 SYC Voucher which can be used in any Clubhouse for Drinks and Beverages (not redeemable for Cash & is only valid for the day of issue)
- You may wish to save your SYC Voucher/s to apply the credit towards your annual Membership subscription.
You can utilise the day SailPASS membership for up to three (3) times before you will then need to subscribe for annual membership.
Sail Pass participants will be capped on a Thursday to a maximum of 5 people and the Sail Pass must be purchased before 10am on the day of sailing.
