Southern is hosting a TOPS coaching course on Sunday, 1 September 2024. This is the Table Tennis Australia entry level coaching course. Online registrations are accepted on the TTSA website.

Southern Table Tennis will be open as usual across the Easter period, with sessions being conducted Easter Friday morning, Easter Sunday morning & Easter Monday evening.

TTSA has released its Calendar for 2024 reflecting all sanctioned tournaments and key events.

At our 2023 AGM it was a great pleasure to be able to award John Munro with Life Membership of Southern Table Tennis.

Southern will be closed on Monday, 25 December 2023 (Christmas Day) and on Monday, 1 January 2024 (New Years Day). Otherwise Southern will be open for Tuesday, Friday & Sunday morning social sessions. Southern wishes all its patrons a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Congratulations to the Winners and Runners up for the 2023 Winter Rapid Fire tournament. It was a fun and exhausting morning with 33 participants playing 165 matches over 2 and a half hours. With the shortened match format there were lots of upsets and only Jaydyn Coggins in group 3 managed to stay undefeated. A big thanks to the organisers Tom Grace, Kym Hardy and Marcel Storken.

Southern Table Tennis has invested in a Revolutionise Sport portal which is integrated with the TTSA and TTA portals. Over the months / weeks to follow this portal will be developed and eventually replace the existing Southern 'wordpress' website. For the moment you can use this portal to update your personal information and lodge your registrations for competitions, tournaments, rapid fire, etc. Stay tuned for further updates.
