CONDITION OF ENTRY

In entering Viper 640 State Championships 2024
I acknowledge and accept that the regatta will be governed by the following rules:
a) Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS),
b) The Class Rules (except where any of these are altered by the SI’s),
c) Sailing Instructions (SI’s)

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. Attention is drawn to RRS 4 “Decision to Race” which states “the responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone”.

SoPYC is not responsible for the seaworthiness of a boat whose entry is accepted or the sufficiency or adequacy of its equipment.

SoPYC as the Organising Authority, its associates and appointees will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the regatta.

I agree to allow the listing of my boat and her details, along with skipper name and where appropriate, crew name on the official site for this event.
I agree that the data on this screen may be stored, to assist the running of this event/series and for my access to simplify entering future events/series.
