Australian Sailing - 2. Tackers Intro

Course information

Registrations for this course are closed.

Teenage Try Sail is our introductory sailing course for children aged 11-13.

The course aims to deliver a fun on-water experience for kids to try the sport of sailing at an affordable entry price. The course is run by Australian Sailing accredited instructors and incorporates fun challenges and group training drills to develop fundamental skills in a safe environment. This accelerated course provides an opportunity for those who have started later to join our junior and youth pathway programs.

By adapting and improving Australian Sailing's template course "Tackers", we now deliver it in a more refined format which we call "Try Sail".
Our narrow age bracket allows us to deliver the course in a more focused and engaging way to maximise both learning and enjoyment for the sailors.

You can see more about the template course, Tackers, below.
Please disregard any information below that conflicts with our course outline.
