About

Southern NSW Sabot Sailing Association (SNSWSSA)

The Southern New South Wales Sabot Sailing Association (SNSWSSA), is a volunteer run committee who help to organise Regattas & Training for our Sabot sailors.

Training is offered from time to time for all levels of Sabot sailors. Look out for upcoming training on this Website or the SNSWSSA Facebook page.

There are a range of regattas organised - some through SNSWSSA, others in partnership with other Sabot Associations - across Australia:

  • Sabot States
  • Sabot Zones
  • Sabot Sprints

Typically over Christmas and New year, there is a National Championship, run in conjuction with Sabot Week. The Zones across the East coast, take it in turns to hold this regatta. SNSWSSA is due to host the 2024/2025 Sabot Nationals & Sabot Week at Drummoyne Sailing Club.

These events don't happen overnight. There are many volunteers who organise the Regattas and Training for our young Sabot sailors. These volunteers all have the same objective, to promote Sabot sailing!
