Skate Queensland is planning to hold another Level 1 Roller Derby Coaching Accreditation Course by June 2016 (tba depending on interest)
A Level 2 Coaching Course is also being developed and Level 1 is the prerequisite.
Please note an accredited coach certificate by a recognised organisation like the Australian Sports Commission is essential guarantee for Professional Indemnity coverage.
Cost for the course is expected to be around $120, with discounts for clubs submitting 5 or more nominations.
Cost covers:
- venue hire,
- qualified instructor,
- pre-reading material,
- course material,
- submission to ASC for formal accreditation,
- morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, and
- coach t-shirt
Skate Queensland now calls for Expressions of Interest to Members / Coaches wishing to participate in the Course by 30/4/16.
All participants are required to first complete a free online Community Coaching General Principles course.
