Spring is here and the 45^th season for Southern Highlands Water Polo is nearly upon us!

With the Olympics just past and the Paralympics currently underway, sport is on everyone’s lips – what a great result for Aussie Water Polo with the Stingers winning Silver and the Sharks coming in 8^th – not to mention the best medal haul in Australian Olympic history over all sports!!  **Aussie Stinger Keesja Gofers will be assisting at Scott Nicholson's KAP7 Training Camps on 27 October - see website for details.**

Locally, we have an opportunity to fix the deficiency in aquatic facilities that our Club has faced for over 20 years – we won’t go into detail of the history, that is past, however, you can help change this by supporting the SHWP Submission to the Wingecarribee Aquatics Plan and Business Cases for Aquatics and Multipurpose Indoor Recreation Facilities currently on Exhibition through Wingecarribee Shire Council.

We have a whole Page dedicated to our Submission on the SHWP website with a summary document attached here to provide some up-to-date background.

Our attached support document has been made available to all candidates for the election of a new Council on 14 September. It will be up to the newly elected Council to deliberate on the outcome to the Aquatics Plan Exhibition process and move forward on components of the Plan ASAP.

Please consider making your own Submission, or simply supporting the SHWP Submission be sending an email to us prior to 27^th September - shwp@outlook.com
