Get ready to have a smashing good time at our Annual Pride 3-on-3 Badminton friendly. This exciting social competition concept will see players from various levels compete for the 'Winner's Bragging Rights'!

It's an opportunity to bring out your A-game while having a good hit and a giggle along the way. The various divisions will give both seasoned competition players and social/low intermediate players the opportunity to compete in their grade.

GRADING AND DIVISIONS

Grade A: Equivalent to entering Division C/D in a badminton tournament.
Grade B: Equivalent to entering Division D/E in a badminton tournament.
Grade C: For recreational players with casual limited competitive experience. Primarily participate in social play and are still developing skills. Familiar with basic rules and strategies. Focus on active participation, fun and enhancing skills through casual games.

Note: Players may be moved between grades as needed to fill spots or if a player is better suited to a different level. Each grade will have 12 spots available.

HOW IT WORKS?

Pride 3-on-3 has 4 teams in each division. You'll play each team once and in which player 1 & 2 will verse 1 & 2 of the opposing team, then 2 & 3 vs. 2 & 3 and 1 & 3 vs. 1 & 3.

It's the first to 21 points and a total of six (6) x 21 point games will be played by each person during the night. The friendly will last for 2 hours and a max. of 20 minutes is given to each 21 point match (inclusive of warm up and turn over).

Once the players have been organised into their teams, we will produce a schedule of play that will be emailed to everyone 1 - 2 days prior to the friendly competition.

HOW TEAMS ARE DETERMINED?

Once all the registrations are in, we'll be drawing the names out of a hat (like a lucky draw raffle) to create the teams. If we are short players in a player grade, select players may need to play down or up a level. We'll try to be as fair in judgement as possible, but we ask everyone to be respectful of the committee's decision.

ENTRY COST: $25members, $30 non-members
