Join us on court for our weekly Thursday night badminton social! Whether you're here for a social swing and miss, or looking to reignite your badminton play days, we'd love you to come along.

Everyone is welcome to join. From beginners who are starting out to tournament players, we've created spaces and opportunities for all player levels.

COACHING & TRAINING
We also run weekly training and fundamentals group coaching for those who are looking to improve their badminton skills.

6:00 - 8:00pm: Intermediate & Competition Prep Training ($40 members, $45 non-members)

8:00 - 9:00pm: Fundamentals Group Training for Beginners to Intermediate ($30 members, $35 non-members)

• Please note, coaching and training needs to be booked in 4-week blocks at a time and includes an 1hr of social play time.

COVID UPDATE

• If you are showing any COVID symptoms please use common sense and follow the advice of NSW Health to complete a RAT test and stay home if required.
• You must check-in with the QR code
• Masks must be worn off-court at all times
• Change rooms and showers remain closed
• Respect social distancing
• No racket hiring from the venue but you can arrange to borrow one from Shuttle Swingers if you don't own one

You can expect a variety of players, backgrounds and levels to join us. So don't forget to mark Thursday evenings for your weekly dose of badminton.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Whether you're a beginner or a former social or comp player, we're all about increasing female participation in badminton, and having fun along the way. We love playing badminton and introducing women from all sporting backgrounds to give it a go. Many women who play tennis, squash or even soccer find it a great cross over sport.

Whether you're LGBTIQ+ or a straight woman, or just an ally, everyone is welcome in our club.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE
Upon arrival, please ensure you check in with a Shuttle Swingers host. Let us know what your experience or level is like. We'll look to rotate you around to play with a mix of people and standards while keeping it comfortable and within your fitness level.

I DON'T KNOW THE RULES
Not to worry, that's what we're here for. You'll learn along the way.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
Appropriate and comfortable sporting attire. Badminton or indoor shoes preferred but not essential. General sports trainers are acceptable. Don't forget water. You might need that.

COVID SAFETY
The Badmintonworx Venue is a COVID safe business and venue. Please ensure you check in at the front desk via their QR code and practice COVID safe distancing. Please note there are also no change rooms or showers in use.
