Who are Shuttle Masters?

Shuttle Masters is a non-profit association with a vision to be the best socially engaging, inclusive and diverse badminton group with an utmost focus on overall health and fitness and help individuals to play, improve, coach, network and have fun. The club is run by a committee whose members are all volunteers.

Where do we play?

We play in the badminton hall at MSAC. Once you are in MSAC, come to the badminton courts we booked (will be visible on each event's description) and you can find our organiser(s) there.

Can I be a member of Shuttle Masters?

We have a membership program and our new membership fee is AUD 50 for 2022. Once you become a member, you can enjoy a reduced rate of AUD 10 for any of our organized sessions.

How to be a Member?

Shuttle Masters is putting New member registrations on hold! You can join the Member Registration Waitlist by sending us an email to shuttlemastersvic@gmail.com.

What if I don't want to be a Member?

You can still book and play as a non member.  Current price for Non Members is AUD 15 per player if the player confirms the spot and pays within the deadline. 

When can I start RSVPing to an event?

Due to the some administrative issues, sometimes we might have to open our RSVP a bit closer (around a few days to a week) to the day of the event in the beginning, instead of the usual two weeks for non-member or three weeks for members. So, please keep an eye on our website :)  Our events get sold out pretty quickly :)

If you do see the event you want to attend is sold out, fear not, we have a waitlist for each event. Sometimes situations change, and people cannot make it to the event. When that happens, we will give the opportunity to the waitlisters on first come first serve basis. If you are on the waitlist, please don't pay until we send you a confirmation email that you get a spot.

How do I RSVP to an event?

Go to Events, you'll see all our upcoming events there. 

Members should RSVP using the members pages/links in order to get the reduced rate. Non-members can only RSVP using the non-members pages. If you would like to RSVP for a friend/partner, please put their name so that we don't think that you've accidentally double booked yourself (we might delete the second entry if that happens).

Any question, email us at shuttlemastersvic@gmail.com. We'll try our best to respond. However, please also remember that the committee members are all volunteers who also have full time jobs, so please allow enough time for us to respond.
