The Member for Wollondilly Jai Rowell last week announced grant funding to our Association of $374,622 to assist with the construction of a 2nd synthetic field at the Hockey Centre.

These funds will be used inconjunction with the Associations funds and an interest free loan approved by the Wingecarribee Shire Council of $650,000 to complete stage one of this development which is to build a hybrid synthetic grass field at a cost approximating $1.1 million. This first stage will not include lights on the field but funding is being pursued for this second stage of the field project.

The development of a second field will have major benefits for our Association allowing us to build our player participation.
