Hi members of Technique Hockey Club and parents,

The AGM for Tech has been set down for Thursday, 16th of February at 6:00pm, in the Hockey South West clubrooms. We would love to see people in person and talk about the year ahead. A video link will be posted closer to the meeting time in the Facebook group.

Season 2022 was a difficult one for a lot of reasons with player availability at times making it a bit difficult fielding full teams each week. So, we are keen to see our club turn around and 2023 be a year of growth & success; and we need everyone's help to do that. All positions on the committee are now open for nomination via email, or on the night, but it is not just those jobs we need help with. There are always little jobs 'here & there' that we need our members to help us with throughout the year. As the old saying goes, 'many hands make light work'.

The AGM will also be an opportunity for everyone to hear about the Hockey South West plans for season 2023, and to ask any questions about what might be happening both on and off the field for the Association.  There is a lot going on with Hockey formats, club management, Hockey Australia visits and a pitch replacement at the end of the season.

Our club has a long, and strong, history in the story of Hockey South West and now is the time we need to step up to see Hockey grow and our club returned to the top of the ladder, in all grades. Its our awesome volunteers who help make that happen in the past and we need your help to do it again.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting and hope you can also assist during the year. Please message or respond to this email if you wish to nominate for our executive roles, but also if you are happy to help in any other way during the year. We would appreciate and welcome hearing from you - or your parents.
