After much discussion over many seasons, and finally getting the oval floodlit to small ball standard, the SEMSA Vets Competition was born. After putting out expression of interest, response was seven teams.
These being Coastal Invasion, Kelmscott Bulldogs, Royals, Thornlie Hawks (Maroon), Thornlie Hawks (White), WBC Wildcats and Western Spirit.
The first games were played on Monday night, 14 October 2024 on 2 diamonds over 2 time slots. A full round was played and finals
The inaugural Grand Final was between Thornlie Hawks (White) and Kelmscott Bulldogs with Thornlie Hawks coming out winners 13-2
