Trials will be conducted to select team(s) to represent South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (SBIHA or Vipers) at the U14 Girls State Championships, to be held on 8 - 10 November 2024 (Mackay)
Trials will be a combination of training drills and games.
Please arrive 30 minutes before start-time for registration and warm-up.
Who can trial:
Only girls born in 2010-2012 (preference to 2010-2011)
Must be registered indoor players with Hockey QLD, with SBIHA as primary association for indoor
Must be a full-time registered player in a 2024 competition at SBIHA
What are the costs:
Nomination costs for trialling will be $40 per player - payable to cover venue hire for trials and some training
The nomination costs are non-refundable
If selected, rep players will be required to purchase a Vipers singlet and socks
A compulsory Tournament Fee is also payable to Hockey QLD
Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the player.
Team training - Sat 26 October (6.30pm-8.00pm) with U14B and Sat 2 November 2024 (5.00pm-6.30pm)
State Team Nominations - HQ now requires players to nominate for State team selection using the HQ link: 2024 Nominations for Qld Indoor Team - Hockey Queensland (hockeyqld.com.au). Nominations close strictly 2 days before the State tournament commences & the fee payable to HQ for nomination is $50.
