• Trials will be conducted to select team(s) to represent South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (SBIHA or Vipers) at the U18 Boys State Championships, to be held on 15-17 October 2021 (Maryborough)
• Vipers is planning to nominate 1-2 teams for U18 Boys (subject to Hockey Queensland acceptance).
• Trials will be a combination of training drills and games.
• Please arrive 30 minutes before start-time for registration and warm-up.
• Who can trial:
  • Only boys born in 2003, 2004 and 2005
  • Must be registered indoor players with Hockey QLD, with SBIHA as primary association for indoor
  • Must be a full-time registered player in a 2021 competition at SBIHA 
• What are the costs:
  • Nomination costs for trialling will be $40 per player - payable to cover venue hire for trials and some training
  • The nomination costs are non-refundable (unless the court hire is not used due to Covid-19 restrictions) 
  • If selected, rep players will be required to purchase a Vipers singlet and socks
  • A compulsory Tournament Fee is also payable to Hockey QLD
  • Travel and/or accommodation costs are the responsibility of the player.
• Squad training - Sunday 26 September (6.30pm-8.00pm)
• Development clinics - Sunday 3 October (am TBC)
• Team training - Saturday 9 October (pm TBC)
